Chardonnay

French variety,  introduced in Romanian vineyards after the phylloxera invasion in the last part of the XIX century. It is not a very productive variety, with an average of 7-8 tones of grapes per hectare.

This white wine has the most intense request on international commerce, dry Chardonnay has a floral,  unmistakeable flavor, it is velvety and ample, unctuous, with a hint of fresh butter.
